Hey all.
Hope everyone's doing amazing and blessed with great health. Knowing our common hatred for long meetings and unnecessary presentations, I'll keep it brief to not bore you with the stuff you're not interested in. :P
Finally, after years of procrastination and fear of rejection/humiliation, I've decided to document my journey of learning new tech. This article marks the initiation of my blog which I've been creating and deleting or moving from one platform to another, but never actually writing anything.
I've always loved the idea of writing but never the efforts involved in the research and actually writing stuff. I think it's my recently read books or my late night coffee that's kicking in and making me do this today. But whatever it is, I'm glad it motivated me enough to, at least, take the first steps.
With this post, I'd like to document the topics I'm going to write about mostly. Obviously, the mind can wander at times. So don't be surprised if you something absolutely unrelated or out of context at times ;)
Here's what to expect when you visit my blog:
- Java - First and greatest love.
- Go - Absolute beast and light as a feather
- Sometimes, Python - Who doesn't want their own J.A.R.V.I.S.?
- Docker/K8s - If something runs F-16s and can be used daily, you gotta learn it!
- Elasticsearch - Superfast text searches run the entire web ecosystem.
- Occasionally, Rust - Well..Just because it's complicated enough to challenge me.
- Books I read - Would love to share what I read and what I learnt from the book.
Feel free to drop more ideas or topics you'd like to read about. Would love to hear what my fellow devs want to read about.
Until next time ;)
